Description
Transparent light yellow liquid with a specific odour.
Ingredients:
1 ml of the preparation contains
the active ingredient:
Deltamethrin 0.25 mg.
Pharmacological properties:
Deltamethrin (the drug’s active ingredient) is a synthetic pyrethroid that acts on ectoparasites as a contact poison, blocks the transmission of nerve impulses by gangliose peripheral nerves, resulting in paralysis and death of parasites.
Moderately toxic for warm-blooded animals.
Application :
1) treatment and prevention of dogs and cats in case of ectoparasite:
– fleas (Ctenocephalus canis , Ctenocephalus felis)
– lice (Linognathus setosus)
– Mallophages (Trichodectes canis , Felicola subrostratus)
– itch mites (Otodectes spp.)
– parasitiform (ixode) mites (Dermacentor pictus, Dermacentor marginatus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus , Ixodes ricinus).
2) Processing of places where animals are kept.
Dosage :
1) Outside.
The preparation is applied to the wool and skin of animals by spraying for a few seconds against the wool until it is lightly moisturised.
Depending on the degree of ectoparasite contamination, the drug should be re-treated in 10-14 days.
The dose of the drug is:
cats: 0.8 ml of the preparation (6 strokes on the piston of the sprayer).
puppies and kittens: 0.4 ml of the product (3 presses on the piston of the sprayer)
dogs: 2-10 kg body weight – 0.8 ml of the preparation (6 strokes on the piston of the sprayer)
body weight 22-44lb (10-20 kg) – 1.6 ml of the preparation (12 strokes on the piston of the atomizer)
body weight 44-88lb (20-40 kg) – 2.4 ml of the preparation (18 strokes on the piston of the sprayer)
body weight over 88lb (40 kg) – 3.2 ml of the preparation (24 strokes on the spray piston).
* One pressure on the atomiser piston is applied within one second.
2) Keeping and resting places for animals and other places where vermin may be located (bedding, mats, cracks in the floor and furniture) are sprayed from a distance of 30-40 cm and at the rate of 10 ml of the preparation (75 presses on the piston of the atomiser) per 1 meter.
Contraindications:
Do not treat sick, exhausted or weakened animals, females during hectic, pregnancy, lactation, or animals under two months of age.
Do not use animals with individual hypersensitivity to the drug components.
Cautions:
It is prohibited to smoke, drink or eat when treating animals with the drug.
When treating a large number of animals it is recommended to use a respirator. Avoid getting the preparation on the skin, mucous membranes, inside. Do not spray in the vicinity of an open fire, do not allow the preparation to overheat.
Allergic reactions (sneezing, tears) may occur during contact with the drug, which pass quickly.
After the treatment, wash hands thoroughly with warm water and soap.
Storage:
Dry dark place inaccessible for children at temperatures between 30-90F (0 to 35 ° C).
Do not store together with food, beverages and animal feed.
Shelf life – 2 years from the date of manufacture.
