100 Tablets ( Praziquantel + Pirantel Pamoate ) for Dogs – Deworming, Drontal Plus Analog

Description

Cylindrical tablets with a flat surface, bevel and chamfer, from white to yellow in color with a specific smell. 

Composition:

1 tablet (0.8 grams) contains

active ingredients:

Praziquantel –  50 mg;

Pyrantela pamoate – 150 mg.

Pharmacological properties

Praziquantel is active against tape helminths – cestodes and trematodes. Pyrantela pamoate (embonate) is active against round helminths – nematodes.

Carnivores drug effective in cestodiasis: echinococcosis (mature form of  Echinococcus granulosus ), teniidoze ( of Taenia multiceps, of Taenia hydatigena, T.ovis, T.pisiformis, Hydatigena taeniaeformis ) dipilidioze ( Dipylidium caninum  – young and mature forms), diphyllobothriasis ( Diphyllobothrium latum ); with trematodoses ( Opisthorchis felineus ); with nematodes of dogs and cats: toxocarosis ( Toxocara canis, Toxocara cati ) toksaskaroze ( Toxascaris leonina ) trihuroze ( Trichuris spp .), hookworm ( Ancylostoma caninum ), untsinarioze ( Uncinaria stenocephala ), heartworm (Dirofilaxia compact, D. immitis ).

The antiparasitic effect of the drug is due to a combination of components that exhibit a synergistic effect on adult and larval forms of flat and round helminths.

Application

Treatment-and-prophylactic deworming of dogs and cats with lesions by cestodes, trematodes, and nematodes.

Dosage

Orally once with food or directly on the root of the tongue before feeding in the doses indicated in the table:

Deworming is recommended to be carried out quarterly (4 times a year). It is recommended to deworm puppies and kittens from a month old.

Contraindications

Do not use in animals in the first half of pregnancy.

Warnings

In some cases, diarrhea, hypersalivation, and vomiting, which disappears on its own, are unlikely.

Storage

Dry, dark, well-ventilated (humidity not more than 75%) rooms at a temperature of  35-77F   (2 ° C to 25 ° C).

Keep away from food and animal feed.

Shelf life  – 3 years from the date of manufacture.
