Homogeneous ointment from light grey to dark brown with a specific scent.

 

 

Composition:

1 gram of the preparation contains:

ichthyol 100 ml

 

 

Pharmacological properties:

Has antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, keratolytic, local – analgesic effects.

Antimicrobial action is predetermined by the presence of sulfur.

When the drug is applied to the wound there is a narrowing of blood vessels, reduction of secretion and exudate, and acceleration of regeneration of damaged tissue.

 

 

Application:

Outdoor treatment for cattle, horses, sheep, goats, pigs, dogs and cats, for skin diseases (burns, wounds, eczema, dermatitis, furunculosis, pyodermia); hooves; arthritis, neuralgia, tendovaginitis, tendovaginitis, bursitis, mastitis.

 

 

Dosage:

Outside.

On the affected area of the skin ointment is applied in a thin layer 1-2 times a day.

The duration of treatment depends on the nature and symptoms of the disease, can last up to 14 days.

The amount of ointment for disposable application depends on the size of the affected skin area.

For treatment of burns, gauze bandages can be used.

Before applying the ointment, the skin is cleaned of mechanical inclusions, dirt, exudate residues, wool.

 

 

Contraindications:

Do not use in case of high individual sensitivity (allergy) to the drug.

Do not allow to get on the mucous membranes.

Incompatible with iodine salts, alkaloids.

 

 

Caution:

If applied for a long time, skin irritation may occur where the ointment is applied.

 

 

Storage:

Dry, dark and well ventilated room on racks at temperatures between 40-77F (5° C to 25° C).

Do not store with foodstuffs.

Shelf life: From the date of manufacture 5 years.
