Description

Oily liquid from light yellow to red and yellow.

Composition:

1 ml of the preparation contains

active ingredients:

Closantel 100 mg;

ivermectin 5 mg.

Pharmacological properties:

 

 Combined preparation containing closantel and ivermectin.

Closantel is a derivative of salicylanide with antiparasitic action.

The mechanism of action of closantel is to suppress oxidative phosphorylation.

The specific effect is to stimulate the enzyme ATP, which leads to a halt in the process of

phosphorylation and electron transfer, thus changing the energy metabolism of the parasite, which

leads to its death.

Ivermectin refers to the compounds that are produced by microorganisms of Streptomices

avermitis group.

The mechanism of action of ivermectin on the parasite organism is that ivermectin stimulates the

release of GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid), which binds to special receptors of nerve endings,

blocking nerve impulses, causes paralysis and death of the parasite.

Application:

Treatment of cattle, sheep, goats at defeat:

 

Cattle:

– Gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematodes (adult and larval stages) – Ostertagia spp.,

Haemonchusplacet, Cooperia spp, Oesophagostomum radiatum, Trichostrongylus spp.,

Strongyloides papillosus, Bunostomum phlebotomum, Toxocara vitulorum, Trichuris spp,

Dictyocaulus viviparus (adult stages), Nematodirus spp :,

– trematodes – Fasciola spp;

– larvae of gadflies – Hypoderma bovis, Hypoderma lineatum;

– scabies mites – Psoroptes bovis, Sarcoptes bovis;

– lice – Haematopinus eurysternus;

Sheep and Goats:

– Gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematodes (adult and larval stages) – Ostertagia spp.,

Haemonchus contortus, Trichostrongylus spp, Cooperia spp., Oesophagostomum spp.,

Nematodirus spp., Trichostrongylus spp;

– with trematodes – Fasciola hepatica:

– scabies mites – Psoroptes ovis, Sarcoptes ovis;

– with sheep runes – Melophagus ovinus.

Dosage:

Once in the next dose:

Cattle – 1.0 ml of the preparation / 110 lb (50 kg) body weight of animals, subcutaneously to the

shoulder blade area;

Sheep, goats – 0.5 ml of the preparation / 55 lb (25 kg) body weight of animals, subcutaneously.

At sarcoptosis – twice with an interval of 5-7 days. Before mass treatment the preparation is tested

on a small number of animals (7-8 heads) beforehand. In the absence of complications for 2-3 days

the drug is used in the whole population.

Doses of more than 10 ml should be divided into 2 places of administration.

Contraindications:

 

Do not use animals with hypersensitivity to ivermectin and clozantel, as well as animals with liver

and kidney diseases.

Do not use simultaneously with other antihelminthic agents.

Do not use females during lactation and in the last 35 days of pregnancy.

Cannot be used for dogs.

Do not use weakened, malnourished and diseased animals with infectious diseases.

Warning:

 

Killing animals for meat is allowed 35 days after the last application of the drug.

The meat is disposed of or fed to unproductive animals by the specified deadline, depending on the

opinion of the veterinary surgeon.

Storage:

 

Dry dark, inaccessible for children at temperatures ranging from 40-777F (+ 5 ° C to + 25 ° C).

Shelf life – 2 years.

 

After the first selection from the bottle, the drug should be used for 14 days, subject to aseptic

selection of the drug and storage in a dark place at temperatures ranging from

32-40 F (0 ° C to + 5 ° C).
