PHARMACOLOGICAL EFFECT
Danofloxacin is a broad-spectrum chemotherapeutic agent belonging to the 4th generation of fluoroquinolones.
The preparation is active against Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms (Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Esherichia soli, Enterobacteriaceae spp.., Pasteurella spp., Haemophilus spp., Actinobacillus spp., Brucella spp., Bordetella bronchiseptica, Proteus vulgaris, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella spp. etc.), mycoplasm.
Danofloxacin is rapidly absorbed in the digestive tract due to its high bioavailability.
Its maximum concentration in the blood is reached after 3-6 hours on average, the therapeutic concentration is maintained for 2 days.
Danofloxacin is partially metabolized in the liver and excreted from the body with urine and bile.
Danofloxacin has a high level of distribution. Thus, the concentration in tissues and organs is much higher than in serum. The organs with the highest concentration are the lungs, liver, kidneys, intestines and muscles.
APPLICATION
Treatment of poultry (broiler chickens, breeding chickens, repair youngsters and turkeys) and pigs with respiratory and digestive tract diseases caused by microorganisms sensitive to danofloxacin.

In salmonellosis, pasteurellosis and mixed infections, the course of treatment should be at least 5 days.
During the treatment animals and birds are given drinking water only with the drug.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
It is allowed to slaughter pigs and poultry for meat 5 days after the last application of the preparation. Meat and milk obtained before the specified period are disposed of or fed to non-productive animals, depending on the conclusion of the veterinary medicine doctor.
Shelf life -2 years.
After the first opening of the bottle – 14 days if stored in a dark place at temperatures between 40-77F (5 to 25 ° C).
