Description

Composition:

In 1 ml it contains of

Enrofloxacin  -100 mg

 

as an active ingredient and auxiliary components: potassium hydroxide, benzyl alcohol, water for injection.

The appearance of the drug is a transparent solution of light yellow color.

Packaged in 1000 ml bottles of polyethylene with a screw cap, which are placed in cardboard boxes.

 

Baytril 10% is a new generation of fluoroquinalone antibiotics for oral use,

anti-bacterial broad-spectrum antibacterial agent for the treatment of infectious diseases.

 

Baytril 10% – used to treat poultry: chickens, broilers, ducks, geese, turkeys, pigeons and rabbits.

Treatment and prevention of poultry (chickens, turkeys, geese, ducks, broilers) sick infectious bird rhinitis, necrotic enteritis, staphylococcosis,

streptococcosis, colibacillosis, pasteurellosis, salmonellosis,

colibacillosis, colibacillosis, campylobacteriosis, hemophilia, pseudomoniasis,

mycoplasmosis and other diseases of infectious etiology caused by bacterial microflora sensitive to enrofloxacin

 

Rabbits: treatment of animals with respiratory and digestive diseases
caused by microorganisms (Pasteurella multocida and E. soli) sensitive to floxacin intake:

 

Baytril 10%  by degree of exposure to the body is classified as moderately hazardous,

is well tolerated by animals in recommended doses and does not have embryotoxic, teratogenic or hepatotoxic effects.

affects intracellular and extracellular microorganisms.

Enrofloxacin is secreted from the body almost unchanged,

Pharmacological properties:

Baytril   10% – Enrofloxacin is a member of fluoroquinolone groups and has a wide antimicrobial effect.

Enrofloxacin has an antimicrobial effect on Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms: E. coli, Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp,

Clostridium spp., Listeria monocytogenes,Corinebacterium spp., Pseudomonas, Haemophilus spp., Salmonella spp., Klebsiella spp., Proteus spp.,
Pasteurella spp. and others, as well as affects mycoplasma and chlamydia.
Antimicrobial action is caused by inhibition of the active enzyme of gyrase, which leads to a rapid bactericidal effect.
The drug is quickly absorbed in the blood and penetrates all organs.
Max is determined in the blood after 2 hours. and is stored for about 6 hours, and the therapeutic conception of about 24 hours.

 

The drug is secreted in urine and bile without change.

Before treatment, the water supply system must be emptied and filled with therapeutic solution.
Solution with the drug should be the only source of water during treatment.

Oral with drinking water in doses:

Oral with drinking water in doses of 0.1 ml/ 2,2lb (1kg) once a day.

0.5 – 1 ml per 1 liter of drinking water for 3 days.

In the treatment of salmonellosis and staphylococcal infection the preparation is used for 5 days.

To restore water every 24 hours.

 

 

The daily dose is calculated by the formula:

(Number of poultry heads) x (average weight of poultry in kg) x (0.1) = total volume (ml) of Baytril 10% in drinking water per day.

 

 

Oral with drinking water in doses:

Rabbits – 0,1ml / 2,2lb (1 kg) body weight per day for 5 days.

The daily dose is calculated by the formula:

(Number of rabbit heads) x (average animal body weight in kg) x ( 0.1) = total volume (ml) Bytril® 10% in drinking water per day.

 

 

 

SPECIFIC GUIDELINES:

Do not use laying hens whose eggs are used for human consumption.

Slaughter of poultry for meat is permitted for 11 days after the last use of the drug.

If slaughter is required within the specified time frame, the meat is fed to unproductive animals or disposed of.

Slaughter of animals for meat is permitted for 15 days after the last bytrill intake.

Animals (meat) are killed earlier, fed carnivorous animals or sent for meat and bone meal production.
