Description

Composition:

100 grams of the preparation contains

active ingredients:

Sulfathiazole – 8 grams;

Trimethoprim – 3 grams;

Oxytetracycline hydrochloride – 4.5 grams;

Tylosine tartrate – 2.5 grams;

Oxytetracycline hydrochloride – 4.5 grams.

Pharmacological properties:

Complex bactericidal, bacteriostatic preparation of a wide spectrum of action.

Tilosine tartrate is an antibiotic from the macrolide group, inhibiting protein synthesis, microbial cell growth and multiplication by means of an irreversible compound with 50S bacterial ribosome subunit.

It is effective against Gram-positive and some Gram-negative bacteria – Corynebacterium spp., Clostridium spp., Erysipelothrix spp., Pasteurella spp.., Vibrio spp., Leptospira spp., Brucella spp., Neisseria spp., Haemophilus spp., Rickettsia spp., Spirochaetes spirochaetes, M. gallisepticum mycoplasma, M. synoviae, M. meleagridis, etc., and others.

Sulfathiazole is an antimicrobial bacteriostatic agent active against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria – E. coli, Shigella spp., Klebsiella spp., Vibrio cholerae, Clostridium perfringens, Corynebacterium diphtheriae, Yersinia pestis, Chlamydia spp., Actinomyces israelii, Toxoplasma gondii.

Oxytetracycline – bacteriostatic antibiotic, disrupts the synthesis of protein in interaction with ribosomes, reduces the permeability of the cytoplasmic membrane of microorganisms. It acts against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria – Streptococcus spp., Clostridium spp., Corynebacterium spp., Brucella spp., Haemophilus spp.., E. coli, Pasteurella spp., Klebsiella spp., Fusobacterium spp., Salmonella spp., Protozoa protozoic, Mycoplasma spp., Rickettsia spp., Chlamydia.

Trimethoprim is a chemotherapeutic preparation, acts against Gram-positive bacteria Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Clostridium spp., Corynebacterium spp., etc., Gram-negative bacteria E. coli, Salmonella spp., Klebsiella spp.., Proteus spp., Pasteurella spp., Bordetella spp., etc., inhibits bacterial reductase which converts dihydropholic acid into tetrahydropholic acid, which is necessary for the synthesis of purines and nucleic acids.

Application:

Treatment of animals and poultry for gastrointestinal, respiratory and genitourinary diseases caused by Gram-positive, Gram-negative and other microorganisms:

calves under 3 months of age – gastroenteritis, salmonellosis, pasteurellosis, vibriosis;

pigs – enzootic pneumonia, arthritis, dysentery,

Oedema, mug, salmonellosis, pasteurellosis;

lambs under 3 months of age – septicemia, eimeriosis;

rabbits – gastroenteritis, colibacillosis, pasteurellosis, pneumonia;

poultry (broilers, turkeys, ducks, geese) – typhus, cholera, salmonellosis, mycoplasmosis, rhinitis.

Contraindications:

Do not prescribe to animals with hypersensitivity to the active substances of the drug and liver and kidney diseases. Do not use for the treatment of dairy cows and laying hens, whose milk and eggs are eaten by humans.

Dosage:

Used orally in mixtures with dry or wet feed.

Treatment of pigs, poultry and rabbits is carried out mainly by group method by uniform mixing of daily amount of mixed feed with the preparation.

To 220lb (100 kg) mixed fodder is added: pigs 300 – 350 grams, birds and rabbits 400 grams of the preparation.

For all kinds of animals a daily dose of a preparation makes 1,0-1,2 gramme on 22lb (10 kg) body weight.

The daily dose is set in two doses.

Depending on the state of the disease during the first application, the dose can be increased by 30-100%.

The course of treatment is carried out until the symptoms of the disease completely disappear and can be continued for 1-2 days.

Cautions:

It is allowed to slaughter animals and poultry for meat in 8 days after the last application of the preparation. The meat received before the specified period is disposed of or fed to non-productive animals, depending on the conclusion of the veterinary medicine doctor.
