Description

Composition:

1 gram of the preparation contains active ingredients:

ivermectin 2.5 mg;

tylosine tartarate 10 mg;

Xeroform 10 mg.

Pharmacological properties:

Gel Oftalmostar is a combined preparation that includes ivermectin, tylosine tartrate and xeroform.

The anti-parasitic component of ivemectin enhances the connection of GABA (gamma-amino-oil acid) with special receptors on the nerve endings of the parasites, blocking nerve impulses, which leads to the death of mature and larval stages of nematodes (in particular, the family Thelaziidae), acariform ticks (families Demodecidae, Psoroptidae, Sarcoptidae) and winged insects (Muscidae).

Tylosine tartrate is active for many species of microorganisms and their associations: Mycoplasma spp., Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Rickettsia spp. and others.

Together with the antiseptic xeroform tilosine inhibits the development of secondary infection.

In addition, xeroform has anti-inflammatory and repellent effect.

The combined synergistic properties of the components of the drug determines its bactericidal, anti-inflammatory, nematodocidal, acaricidal, insecticidal and repellent activity.
