Colistin sulfate – 4800000 IU.

Pharmacological properties:

Colistin is a polypeptide antibiotic, which belongs to the polypeptide group.
It has a bactericidal effect.
This action is made possible by the ability of the molecule to attach to the bacterial membrane and suppress the function of the semi-permeable osmotic barrier.
Colistin is mainly effective against Gram-negative microorganisms such as: E.coia, Salmonella spp., Shigella spp., Proteus spp., Pseudomonas aeroginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Bordetella spp.
Application:

Treatment of calves (under 3 months), pigs and poultry (broiler chickens, chickens, repair young animals, turkeys) for diseases of the digestive tract (colibacillosis and salmonellosis) caused by microorganisms sensitive to colistin.

Dosage:

Oral together with drinking water or milk for 3-5 days in dose:
Calves – 1 gram of preparation per 220lb (100 kg) body weight twice a day;

Pigs – 1 gram of preparation per 220lb (100 kg) body weight twice a day or 200 grams of preparation per 1000 liters of drinking water;

Poultry (chickens, broilers, chickens, married couples, young animals, turkeys) –

100-200 grams of the preparation per 1000 liters of drinking water.

Contraindications:

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to colistina, as well as in animals with kidney failure. Do not use chicken laying hens, whose eggs are intended for human nutrition.
Warning: Do not use chicken laying eggs for feeding people:

It is allowed to kill animals and poultry for meat in 1 (poultry, pigs) and 7 (calves) day after the last application of the preparation.
