Description
Description:
Transparent, yellowish solution.
Composition:
1 ml of the preparation contains
active ingredients:
Tiamulin fumarate hydrogen – 145 mg;
Tylosine tartrate – 105 mg.
Pharmacological properties:
Tiamulin is a semi-synthetic antibiotic from the plevromulin group. By inhibiting protein synthesis in microorganisms, thiamulin acts bacteriostatically in relation to: Gram-positive (Erysipelotrix spp., Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp, Listeria monocytogenes, Actinomyces pyogenes) and gram-negative microorganisms (Pasteurella spp., Campylobacter spp., Fusobacterium spp., Klebsiella pneumoniae); mycoplasmus (Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, Mycoplasma hyosynoviae, M. hyorhinis, M. bovis, M. synoviae, etc.); leptospira (Leptospira spp.); spirochaetes (S. hyodysenteria, S. innocens); treponem (T. hyodysenteriae) and chlamydia (Chlamydia spp.).
Tylosine is an antibiotic from the macrolide group. Its bacteriostatic effect is based on the suppression of bacterial protein synthesis due to binding to ribosomes. Tylosine is active against: gram-positive (Actinomycos spp., Clostridium spp., Corynebacterium spp., Streptococcus spp., Leptospira spp., Erysipelothrix spp, B. anthracis) and gram-negative microorganisms (Brucella spp., Fusobacterium spp., Haemophilus spp., Pasteurella spp., Salmonella spp., B. bronchiseptica, P. Mirabilis, E. coli, etc.). Suppresses the effects of mycoplasma (Mycoplasma spp.), chlamydia (Chlamydia spp.), treponema (Treponema spp.) and rickettsia (Rikettsia spp.).
Application
Poultry (chickens, turkeys, geese, ducks and young animals of these species): prevention and treatment of poultry with bronchitis, mycoplasmosis, echerichiosis, pasteurellosis, as well as diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and respiratory tract caused by microorganisms sensitive to thiamulin and tylozine.
Pigs: Treatment of animals with rye, dysentery, ileitis, leptospirosis, listeriosis, campylobacteriosis, colibacillosis, pasteurellosis, salmonellosis, infectious gastroenteritis, spirochaetes enterocolitis, atrophic rhinitis, enzootic pneumonia, actinobacillar pleuropneumonia and mycoplasmic arthritis caused by thiamulin- and tylosine-sensitive microorganisms.
Dosage:
Oral with drinking water in dose:
poultry (chickens, turkeys, geese, ducks and youngsters of these species) – 1 ml of the preparation per 1 liter of drinking water (therapeutic dose) for 3-5 days.
Young birds are (prophylactically) given 0.5 ml per 1 liter of drinking water daily from the first to the fifth, and then from the eighteenth to the twentieth day of life;
Pigs – 0.8 ml of the preparation for 22 lb (10 kg) body weight per day for 3-5 days. In the case of pigs with enzootic pneumonia, mycoplasmic arthritis – this dose is increased to 1.0-1.2 ml of the preparation by 22lb (10 kg) body weight.
After the course of treatment of pigs with dysentery or ileitis, it is advisable to repeat the treatment after 8-10 days.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to thiamulin and tylosine. Do not use pregnant sows in the first stage of pregnancy (during the first month), pedigree boars, laying hens in the period of egg-laying. It is not recommended to use TT Gard-250 simultaneously with penicillins, cephalosporins and lincomycin. Pigs should not use polyester ionophore-based products (monenzine, narazine, salinomycin, etc.) for at least a week before, during and after treatment.
Caution:
Slaughter of pigs and poultry for meat is allowed after 10 days after the last application of the drug. The meat is disposed of or fed to unproductive animals before this date, depending on the opinion of the veterinarian.
Storage:
Dry, light-proof place, at temperatures from 40-77F (5 ° C to 25 ° C).
After the first selection from the bottle the rest of the solution should be used for 20 days, provided it is stored in a domestic refrigerator.
Shelf life – 3 years from the date of manufacture.
