Powder of light yellow color, poorly soluble in water.
100 grams of the preparation contains
Norosulfazole – 8,0 grams;
Sulfadimezin – 7.0 grams;
Trimethoprim – 3.0 grams;
Oxytetracycline hydrochloride – 4.5 grams;
Tylosine tartrate – 2.5 grams.
Pharmacological properties :
Norslulfazole is well absorbed from a gastrointestinal tract, therefore has system action.
Sulfadimezin is almost not absorbed, reaches a high concentration in the intestines, where it has a good local effect.
Together with trimethoprim, sulfonamides are highly active against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
Antibiotics oxytetracycline and tylosin have high bacteriostatic activity, so the complex drug has a wide range of bactericidal and bacteriostatic effects, including against microorganisms resistant to conventional antibiotics and chemotherapeutic agents.
Gram-positive microorganisms (Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Clostridium spp., Corynebacteria spp., etc.), Gram-negative bacteria (E. Colli, Bordetella spp., Salmonella spp., Klebsiella spp., Pasteurella spp., Proteus spp., Campylobacter), Mycoplasma spp., etc., as well as some simple and large viruses.
For prophylaxis and treatment of animals and birds at primary and secondary bacterial infections of the respiratory, digestive and urinary tract, namely: catarrh of the upper respiratory tract, pneumonia, enteritis, cystitis, mastitis, septicemia, postnatal complications and a number of specific infections:
in calves: colibacial and salmonella gastroenteritis, pasteurellosis, vibriosis;
in pigs: enzootic pneumonia, arthritis, dysentery, edema, rye, salmonellosis, pasteurellosis;
in sheep: septicemia, meiosis, infectious agalactia;
in birds: typhus, cholera, salmonellosis, mycoplasmosis, rhinitis.
